VIRE is a fictional atelier, and this site is a concept by Appel Studios. The terms below show how a real atelier of this kind would set out its commitments. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell.
Fittings
A private fitting is free and lasts about an hour. If you need to move it, tell us a day ahead so we can offer the time to someone else.
Commissions and deposits
Work begins once you approve the drawing and pay a deposit of half the agreed price. The deposit covers the stone and metal we buy for your ring, so it is refundable only until those are ordered. The balance is due at handover.
Stones
Every centre stone of 0.5 carat and above comes with an independent grading report. If you bring your own stone, we inspect it before setting and tell you plainly about any risk to it.
Sizing and care
The first resize within a year of handover is free. Cleaning and claw checks are free for as long as you wear the ring.
Returns
A ring made to your drawing cannot be returned, because it was made for one hand. If something is wrong with the making, we put it right at no cost.
